Nashville Chamber Music Series
This NCMS performance will feature a string quintet performance featuring local player/composers. Players: Melanie Alvey Laura Epling Bobby Chase Kaitlyn Raitz Benjamin Jones The Nashville Chamber Music Series is a collective of composers, performers, and music lovers who wish to develop Nashville's communal passion for classical and jazz music. Continuing the centuries-old tradition of gathering together and performing music in the home, we organize recitals in living rooms, places of business, and other non-traditional performance spaces; while the environments are casual and accessible, the music remains challenging, innovative, and beautiful. Our goals are to promote the works of young and local composers, to advance contemporary music both within the greater Nashville area and beyond, and to bring together audiences of all ages and musical backgrounds.
